【賛同表明】Open Letter with Urgent Action Required regarding the Condemnation of Bangladesh Government’s Brutal Crackdown and Manipulation Efforts

ヒューマンライツ・ナウは、FORUM-ASIAの公開書簡「(仮訳)バングラデシュ政府の残忍な弾圧と操作行為に対する非難に関する緊急行動を求める公開書簡」（原題：Open Letter with Urgent Action Required regarding the Condemnation of Bangladesh Government’s Brutal Crackdown and Manipulation Efforts）(2024年8月5日公開)に賛同を表明致しました。

書簡にて、各国大使館や国際機関に向けて以下の行動を起こすよう要求しています：

  1. バングラデシュ政府に対し、デモ参加者に対するあらゆる殺害やその他の形態の暴力を直ちに停止するよう求めること。
  2. 国連人権理事会が設置する国際調査委員会に対し、人権侵害に関する公平で独立した透明性のある調査を直ちに提唱し、支援すること。
  3. バングラデシュ政府からのあらゆる圧力に抵抗し、正確で正しい情報を広めること。
  4. 人権侵害の証拠を文書化し、提出するための安全なプラットフォームを早急に支援すること。
  5. 適切な法的・外交的手段を通じて、人権侵害の責任者の責任を追及するため、たゆまぬ努力をすること。
  6. 自由な情報の流れを確保するため、インターネットへの完全なアクセスの即時回復と、ソーシャルメディア・プラットフォームおよびオンライン・ニュース発信者に対するあらゆる制限の解除を要求すること。
  7. 非武装の市民に対する軍や警察の武力行使を強く非難し、平和的な抗議行動に対する対応の即時非武装化を要求すること。
  8. 正義と民主的改革のために勇気を持って闘っているバングラデシュの人々と連帯すること。
