[News]Symposium and film show on Guantanamo

The Road to Guantanamo, is a British 2006 documentary movie directed by Michael Winterbottom about the incarceration of three British detainees (the 'Tipton Three') at a detainment camp in Guantánamo Bay Naval Base, Cuba.
The film documents the personal accounts of Ruhal Ahmed, Asif Iqbal and Shafiq Rasul (the 'Tipton Three'); three young British men who are transferred and detained at Guantanamo detention center. In January 2007, Human Rights Now, together with Amnesty International Japan, co-hosted a film show and symposium with Mr. Ruhal Ahmed, Mr. Asif Iqbal and human rights scholars and journalists to discuss the human rights violations caused by the US led " war on terror".
Separately HRN hosted talk event with Mr. Ruhal Ahmed, Mr. Asif Iqbal, titled "what happened in Guantanamo" discuss in depth of their story and review the policy of war on terror in the aspect of international human rights law.
