HRN, together with Japan International Volunteer Center, Peace Boat and other NGOs working on the situation in Iraq, sent a joint letter to the Japanese prime minister to establish a commission on Inquiry on the Japanese policy on Iraq war. The similar commissions have been established in UK and Netherland, and HRN and other NGO urged the Japanese government to follow them in order to review its policy in Iraq which suffered tens of thousands of death of innocent people in the course and after the war on Iraq.
