Joint open letter concerning Cambodia regarding Government Donor Coordination Committee
Human Rights Now, together with international and regional human rights organizations, has sent a joint open letter concerning the human rights situation in Cambodia to donor countries of Cambodia. In the letter, human rights NGOs express their deepest concern regarding the increasing human rights violations in Cambodia. In light of the Government-Donor Coordination Committee (GDCC) meeting held on September 26, 2012, we urge the international donor community, which finances almost half of the Cambodian national budget, to take timely and decisive action regarding the human rights abuses perpetrated by the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC).
