Human Rights Now has submitted a shadow report on “Children’s Rights in Japan” in parallel with Japan’s periodic report submission to the 76th session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child. HRN’s report covers the rights to health of children affected by the Fukushima nuclear disaster, sexual exploitation of children in Japan, and human rights violations of children in the Japanese education system.
