Fafo Survey Concerning Multinational Firms and International Law
On 6th September 2006, Fafo, a Norwegian research institute, announced a comparative survey regarding multinational firms and international law, entitled, ‘Commerce, Crime and Conflict: Legal Remedies for Private Sector Liability for Grave Breaches of International Law‘.
This survey was conducted by practitioners and researchers from 16 different countries and a section concerning Japanese law was written by Human Rights Now.
Mr. Shimpei Yamamoto, an attorney at law from Human Rights Now, participated in a conference for the announcement of the survey held in Geneva, Switzerland on 6th and 7th September, 2006.
