[Report] Labour, Environment and Asian Transnational Corporations – Toward an East Asian Business and Human Rights Movement – Cases from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan

On 26 November 2024, Human Rights Now, an international human rights NGO based in Tokyo, in collaboration with KTNC Watch (South Korea) and TTNC Watch (Taiwan), published the report “Labour, Environment and Asian Transnational Corporations – Toward an East Asian Business and Human Rights Movement – Cases from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan”.

This report analyzes the impact of business on labor, the environment, and human rights in supply chains and highlights the importance of corporate human rights due diligence (HRDD) in East Asia.
