Adoption of New Rape Laws & Press Conference
On June 16, 2023, the Japanese parliament adopted and enacted wide-ranging revisions to the Japanese Sexual Crime Penal Code. In this context, the Citizens Project for Criminal Law Reform, to which Human Rights Now belongs, held a press conference in the Japanese parliament.
