March 16 Webinar: “Innovative Transformation of Global Supply Chain for Women and All”
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our health and economy is devastating. At the same time, it unfolds many preexisting challenges we had already faced for decades, particularly labor exploitation. In the context of global supply chain, labourers are forced to work for little money, and women comprise nearly half of the supply chain workforce. This event aims to discuss how industries, corporates, and investors can transform global supply chain into something that is sustainable and just for the most marginalized, particularly girls and women. The event features an exploited labourer, a social entrepreneur, and human rights lawyers.
