Translator / Editor (Engligh – Japanese / Japanese – English)
Grammar Checker (English)
Conditions / Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (a minimum score of 90 on the TOEFL iBT exam).
- Basic understanding of international human rights law.
- Experience in both English – Japanese and Japanese – English translation.
Note: For the grammar checker internship position, applicants must originate in an English-speaking country.
Information Technology Volunteers – Tokyo headquarters
HRN is recruiting volunteers who can help us with the development of our website. IT volunteers should be able to work at our Tokyo office for a minimum of 3 hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after 5pm. A high level of computer competency and familiarity working with the internet is strongly desired. Experience of homepage design is preferred.
Videographer Volunteers – New York office
Our New York office is seeking volunteers who can help us with the production and editing of storytelling / short documentary videos to introduce our projects, promote awareness of human rights issues, find donors and raise funds to better assist victims of human rights violations.
- An academic degree / professional experience in video production
- A basic understanding of human rights issues
