Proposal Meeting Regarding Country by Country Aid Programs<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Human Rights Now (HRN), together with several other NGOs, has produced a proposal, calling for the Foreign Minister of Japan to hold consultations with Japanese and local NGOs during the planning process of country by country aid programs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On 4th<\/sup> December, 2006, at the Second Consultative Meeting with the Foreign Ministry on the consequences of our proposal, the Ministry explained its decision to establish a scheme to hear the opinions of NGOs in the process of aid program making. The scheme has not begun yet, however, HRN welcomes the Ministry’s decision.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
