The Saffron Revolution saw a surge of monk led democracy activity oppressed by the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC), the offcial name for the Myanmar military regime.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span>The fact-finding mission team conducted interviews with more than a dozen monk and citizens who joined the movement.
