Human Rights Now has signed a joint statement on Gaza Strip calling for establishment of a commission of inquiry to be included in a resolution at the Special Session of the Human Rights Council on Gaza Strip on 23rd July.<\/p>\n

Also, HRN sent a request calling upon member states to sponsor or support a resolution of the session, including;
\n– an immediate cease-fire;
\n– protection of civilians and adherence of international laws such as the Geneva Conventions;
\n– lifting the blockage of Gaza Strip;
\n– ensuring accountability for human rights violations by sending a commission of inquiry.<\/p>\n

Resolutions of the Human Rights Council should be gained with broader supports, and HRN hopes your government to make necessary effort to this end.
