The UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health, Mr. Anand Grover, held a press conference on November 26th. During the conference he made a detailed statement regarding his visit to Japan and outlined key concerns regarding the Japanese authorities response to the nuclear disaster at the Daiichi nuclear power plant in Fukushima, following the devastating earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. 

The conference was held prior to the presentation of the full report to the Human Rights Council, which is scheduled in June 2013.
